The Christian Science Monitor is an international news organization that delivers thoughtful, global coverage via its website, weekly magazine, online daily edition, and email newsletters. Being only vaguely familiar with Japanese music outside of old video game music, I can't comment too much on the Japanese EDM scene or the J-pop scene or other elements of Japanese music. J-pop and its Korean counterpart does seem to rely a lot more on multiple voices in harmony.
